Jelena Nedeljković was born in Loznica , Serbia, on May 6th 1984. She graduated from Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade , in 2008. Diploma thesis title was “Carbon sequestration in forest ecosystems”. Currently Jelena is a Research asistant and PhD student at Chair of Forest policy, economics and organization of forestry and forest products trade at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade . She is also engaged as teaching assistant on subject Organization and business administration in forestry . Jelena's basic field of interest and occupational duties are: non-wood forest products (NWFPs), forestry supply chain with focus on NWFPs, organization and development of NWFPs supply chain, organization and entrepreneurship of NWFPs, identification of small enterprises dealing with NWFPs, theirs linkages in supply chain, organization of these enterprises, entrepreneurship opportunities, forest policy with focus on NWFPs, rural development and NWFPs, role of NWFP in poverty alleviation, institutional and non-institutional cooperation with local populations. As well, Jelena is member of FOPER (EFI paroject) PhD support program and EFIMED scholar.
